ANSWER: Jim
Check the float in the carburetor, seems like it is staying open to allow fuel to pass tru it that would be only way for fuel to get inside your engine.

QUESTION: Hi Ben,I change the float on the old carb first and that didn't seem to work so I put a new carb on and still have the same problem, what the chance the new car has a bad float.I call the dealer and he said the filter in the fuel tank is bad,but there is no filter in the tank so he said put and inline filter on so I did that and still coming out exhaust.

Answer
Jim
If you get me the engine Model # and any other numbers on this engine I can look further to see about the Fuel filter. If the fuel filter was bad I would think that it would not allow fuel to pass that easy.Sounds to me like the float may be bad.If gas flows out of the needle valve after cleaning and replacing it, the needle valve may a crack in it and needs replacing When you checked the float needle did you see a small red looking rubber o-ring that was in the needle valve seat. Make sure that the o-ring is completely pushed down in the carb seat, this will cause fuel to come out as well. The grooved side of the O-ring must face down!!

You may want to do a leak down test on this engine you may also have a bad intake valve.
