crank is alot stronger but tractor still will not start
I squirted some gas in carb no luck
any other suggestions

What is the engine model, type and code/serial number again?  Were you using new fuel as priming fuel?

Have you replaced the spark plug?  It could have fouled with the old gas.

changed spark plugs out with new ones...still just cranks ...sprayed gas in  carb still just cranks...used new fuel to prime''''''''''''''''tractor is a cub cadet 782 with Kohler Engine
17KT 2 cylinder 17hp 682 tractor kohler engine.....specification 24193..model 143782100..I tried to attached kohler service manuel
but unable to do that.If u want to view the manual
go to kohler engines...click kohler engines home...up top click on manuels & maintenance....service owner manual comes up...right side drop down windows select kohler for engine family k series...next window...16-20hp...next window...horizontal..clickKT17 service ..english and manual will come up....sorry for being a pain....thanks so much Eric for your patience

When did the engine last run?  It is very odd to have spark and the engine not to start while priming with gas.

How much gas are you using to prime the engine?
Do you have a compression gauge to check the engine compression?  Usually those engine will start even if they have low compression.
