Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda G150 carb, air mixture, g150

Question
I recently took the carb off my HS35 snow thrower with a G150 engine, took the fuel bowl, float, and needle valve off, soaked the carb and fuel bowl in B12 carb and choke cleaner, put all the parts back together and reconnected it to the snow thrower engine with new gaskets.

My question is how do I know how many turns do I have to do on the air/fuel mix screw to get it to run properly?

Answer
Most carburetor sdjustments are the same for small engines.

Now Setting the Air Mixture Screws:  ****Turn the Idle Air and Main Air Mixture Screws In Until SNUG **Do Not Jam** Then reverse screws 1 1/2 Turns.  Start and warm the enigne. Now allow the sngine to Idle. Set the engine idle screw (Not Idle Air) so the engine will stay running.  Now Set the Idle Air Mixture Screw so there is no hesitation when throttling from idle to full throttle.

Let me know if this helps.
