Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): stopping snowblower, throttle cable, key switch

should i stop blower by key or throttle  old ariens pullstart

Answer
Throttle would be better to keep the engine from possibly flooding but it's pretty rare to flood the engine when shutting them off.  Plus using the throttle will may sure the throttle cable keeps working...but you can say the same for the key.

I would use each method every now and then so the key switch and the throttle cable get used to make sure they stay in working condition.
