Top bushing in motor is worn & sloppy. Can it be replaced without tearing down engine & how. Thank you

The top crankshaft bushing?  Never saw a bushing wore out.  Is it the seal you are needing to replace?

If the upper crank bushing is wore out then most of the other engine parts (internal) should be wore out as will.

FYI, you have to completely dis-assemble the engine, press out the old bushing and press in a new one.  You need very special tools or a machine shop to replace the bushing.
