Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): just bought a used john deere 103, briggs and stratton, hp kohler

the john Deere 103 had a blown 18 hp motor so i took it out and i have a 18.5 hp kohler motor i wanna put on it i took the wiring harness of the old motor for the other motor and i cant fig out what wires go to what the old harness has three wires and the new motor has three wires so just need some help getting the running thank

Did  you go to Kohler's website and download the manual for the Kohler engine you have?
