Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Tractor wont start, blue smoke, coils

Question
I have a Yamamha YT6800 that ran perfect until I powered washed it  It sat outside all winter covered and started right up I used it a couple of days and the last time I went to start it ir blew alot of blue smoke out of the exhaust which was not normal but started fine and ran fine and smoke went away quickly so then I thought I would wash it and sense then it wont start I did let it dry out for days and now over a week it turns over good but smells like gas badly now like its fluded I checked the plugs and they smelt like gas as well so I changed them out and still not starting I checked the oil which was a bit low added to that also
Ive been told that it might have a low oil shut off not sure about that but it waas not that low Ive been told it might be a coil and when I look for one all I can find is coil 1 not the coil 2 and not sure if they can be interchanged also Ive noticed that people who change them out also change the CDI unit which I have no idea where that is or what it looks like hell dont even know wher the coils are or what they look like I do not know nothing about this type of engine I have checked all wires and they look fine and attached also Ive been told that it needs at least 12amps to start I do have a new battery for it that test at 12.5-13amps but when turning it over drops to about 10.5 so not sure if that is the issue they said that it needs alot of amps to make something relay a spark to the plugs but not sure if they are talking about amps when cranking it over or standing still. I just cannot beleive that washing it has made it nvever to start again I washed it last summer with out issue but did powerwashed it this time. I am pretty sure that I have no spark at the plugs on both sides but not a 100% sure cuz of its hard to get a good connection with my tester due to the caps be removed on the plugs so that they will fit the caps on the mower. I am out of work and money is tight so I just dont have money to buy parts and hope they fix the problem so I hoping you have some ideas on where to start trouble shooting and even where things are. It smells like gas when I try starting it like it is fluded that is why I though maybe plugs
is there anyway to check the coils?  where are the coils? where is the CDI? what does it look like? what else can I try ?  I am going to start taking the top of engine apart tomorrow slowy of course cuz again dont know anything about these types of egines. I so love this mower and I am sure its something fixable and most likely simple if i just knew where to start and what to look for. Ive been told it could be a number of things most I dont know even what they are talking about so plain english when explaning something will help alot thanks so much for any of your help

Answer
Start by taking the top of the engine cover off.  Follow the spark plug wires from the spark plug to the ignition coil(s).  Once you get to the coils see how many wires are connected to them.

Take a digital photo of the coils and let me know how many wires are connected to the coils.  You can attach the photo...I want to see if the coil is a all in one unit or if there may be an external CDI.
