Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): searsnowblowermodel 427.886640, don p, fuel line

won'tstart. has spark,poured gas into plug port, replaced plug,nothing. pulled plug, put thumb over port, no compression. also wheni push primer button no gas flow just air.

The primer button may have a crack in the fuel line or the bulb itself can be bad,that is why you can't get fuel and if it sucks air you wont get it to start. Your Carburetor may need cleaning and rebuilt.How long has the unit been sitting that would cause low compression because the oil runs down the piston and lays on the bottom  now you have a small space for air to go into.
