Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Starter for B&S 28M707 0122-01, briggs and stratton, aluminum ring

Question
I have a Toro Mower, Model 71191 it uses the Briggs 28M707 0122-01 My starter motor has burned up and now I am having a real issue finding a replacement, the manual that the Toro website has shows a 16 tooth plastic gear starter, and when you look on the briggs website it shows options of the 16 tooth plastic and the 14 tooth steel.  Here is my problem the Gear that is on my starter is a 18 tooth, on the bottom of the starter is says Mitsubishi manufactured for Briggs and Stratton.  I purchased a 16 tooth plastic starter and of cause after a short amount of time it chewed up the gear.  So I looked at switching the original 18 tooth gear to the new starter there is no way it will fit.  I search for hours online and see no Briggs 18 tooth starters?

So without changing the fly gear what options do I have, any ideas of the part # for a 18 tooth Briggs Starter?

I need to know what kind of ring gear you have is it steel plastic or a aluminum?
These are your options. The reason you starter gear got chewed up is because you use the wrong number of tooths you have to stick with the 18 tooth. You don't have to buy a new starter you get a pinion gear kit.
