Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Idle screw, carburetors, air compressor

Question
Hello, I have a Poulan weedeater lawn mower. It starts up, but then kind of sputters while idling. I replaced the plug, air filter, and muffler. It still sounds like it's losing power for a few seconds while Idling. I thought to adjust it, but I cannot find a screw to do so, or any way of adjusting the air and gas. Any idea of where the screws are or how to fix the problem? Thanks.

Answer
Most small engine produced since the mid-90's do not have any adjustment on the carb.  Usually, 99% of the time, removing, dis-assembling and cleaning the carb with compressed air from an air compressor.  Once the carb is dis-assembled, you can blow compressed air through all the carb orfices, holes, to make sure they are clean.

You can find several videos on You Tube on how to clean carburetors.
