QUESTION: hi

ANSWER: Hello Daniel:

>>Sorry for the Delay. I have been Unable to Answer Questions Due to Health Issues. Thanks for Understanding.
>>What is the Engine Mounted on?
>>Are there Any Safety Switches on this Unit?
>>Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine and the Unit/Mower Model Numbers, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Engine Model Numbers May be Stamped Into the Blower Housing (metal engine cover) Above the Spark Plug. The Unit/Mower Model Numbers are Usually Located Under the Seat on a Sticker on the Body of the Mower.
>>Thanks.

QUESTION: Mower: gxl100b011510
Model john deere L100b

Motor does not have any numbers on it but it is a loncin Industries 16hp vertical motor single cylinder

Answer
Hello Again Daniel:

>>Thanks, I Suspected this was a JD Unit but I wanted to be Certain.
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H and Enter the Model Numbers L100 and Click Find. Then Select your Model from the Search Results Area. Then Select the Sectional File. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View Online. *You can Drag the View Windows for Better Viewing.*
>>From your Description it Sounds like there is a Safety Switch Not Allowing the Starter to Engage.
>>You can Use the Electrical Schematic to Ensure you have the Wires Connected Correctly.
>>Can you Explain to me How you have the Engine Wired to the Unit as of Now?
>>As Always, If you Hit a Snag, have More Questions or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
