Answer
Hello Danny:

>>Sorry for the Delay. Snow and Ice have Hit Us hard and I have been Very Busy.
>>This is a Common Problem on OHV Engines when the Valve Clearances are Not Correct and Require Setting.
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL at this Site Addy,
http://www.emerichsales.com/ and Select Cub Cadet in the Drop Down Under "Parts Lookup" at the Left of the Page. Now Fill Out the OEM Part Diagrams Look Up by Model Fit.
>>The 1050 is the Series Model. I Used the 2007 and Earlier Models for Reference.
>>Send me the Make, Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
