Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Chinese small engines, small engines, decal

To your knowledge, does Champion (CPE) produce engines in China?

They do NOT make their own engine, my last trip over they were using LIFAN engines, but I was told they were aligning with another engine company. I believe that they do assemble tier own gen sets.  Their engines will have tier own EPA decal on them.
