Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): no spark at all, question thanks, happy new year

QUESTION: Hi john i have a zero turn hustler mower fitted with a gxv530 honda it has no spark at all on both plugs or coils have tried every think the stopper diodes that goes to the coils i found is open circuit i removed it still no spark ,is it possable both coils are shot ,i have isolated the motor totally from all safety switches many t5hanks Harold.

QUESTION: thanks for quick answer yes the magnet is still there ,it will hold combo wrench plus,and i have removed both shut off leads ,i did say in my first question that i found the dioes assembly to be open circuit zero reading on the ohmes meter could this have back fired and shot the coils many thanks Harold. ps Happy new year.

>>Some of these Shut Off Diodes will Read Open Until the Grounded Side (lead of the Diode goes to the Shut Off Switch) of the Diode is Grounded and a Circuit is Completed.
