Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Briggs Statton Intek Vtwin locked up, briggs and stratton, briggs and stratton intek

I have a Briggs and Stratton Intek 23hp Vtwin model #445577 type #0755E1. I just got it back together after putting new rings on both pistions. Started up fine ran smooth for about 15 min. then I cut the engine off now it is locked up can not turn the flywheel. What have I done wrong and yes it has oil in it. I put everything back the same way they came out. Can you help!

Have you checked the timing? You may need to check the rings sounds like they may have expanded against the cylinder wall I would take it apart again and look into that area.Put some oil in the spark plug holes and try to see if that will loosen it up if it does it will smoke a lot until the oil is all gone.
