Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Gokart wont run in cold., briggs and stratton, cold question

Question
QUESTION: I have a gokart with a Briggs and Stratton
engine Model number 136212. I have had tons of
problems with it so far but have been able to
fix most of them but I can not get it to run in
cool temperatures (50s or lower). Is there anything I can do about this if so please help. I also can't reconnect the throttle if you can give me easy to follow directions on how
to connect from throttle cable to carb that
would be great also. Thank you for your help!

ANSWER: Hello Nick:

>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select "Click Here For The Parts Menu". Then Select B. Then Select Briggs. Then Select "Click Here If You Don't Have Your Part Numbers". Now Select the File (using the first 1 or 2 Numbers of your Model Number) for your Model.
Select the File #13 and then the Sub File #136200.
>>Try Turning the Air Mixture Screw Counter Clockwise 1/4 to 1/2 a Turn.
>>On Page 9 of 24 you can See the Attaching Link (#266A) for the Throttle Cable.
>>Some of these have the Throttle Cable Attahed to this Link and Others have the Throttle Cable Attached Directly to the Governor Control Spring (#209 on pg 12 of 24) which is Attached to the Governor Control Arm.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. I Hope you Had a Happy Holiday and May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck

QUESTION: Thank you for your help. But I had actually already been to
the site you mentioned. I really need a diagram of the
throttle linkage all put together do you know of any place I
can find that?

Answer
Hello Again Nick:

>>I have Not Located a Site that Offers that kind of Picture, however
>>I have 1 of these Units in the Shop and will Try to have Pictures taken of the Throttle Hook Up before the Day is Over and Send the Pictures to you.
