Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Cant get fuel to carburator, mtd yard machines, briggs and stratton

I have a mtd yard machines briggs and stratton model 135202
type0258 02 code 95072607 rototiller with the carb. on top of the gas tank if I pour gas down the carb. it will start once then stop once that gas burns out. the gas pick up in the tank seems to be clear but the but the other part with the gold looking pick up with the pin hole at the bottom seem clog

Sounds like a time or a carburetor rebuild,if there is dirt then the machine wont start the normal way as it needs fuel and the correct air mixture. I would suggest that you get a rebuild kit and take carburetor apart and clean it with a good carburetor cleaner.
