Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Homelite leaf blower, ace hardware store, vent line

I bought a after market primer bowl from Ace Hardware store. The original had a tear. Changed out the bowl and now it does not fill with gas. When I push it in there are bubbles in the gas tank. When you release it sounds it air coming from the carburator.

Check the fuel lines make sure there is no tears or if they are connected. The primer bulb should have 2 hoses 1 is fuel to the carb the other is fuel from the tank,make sure these are correct. Make sure that both fuel lines are in the tank you have a vent line to let air in and a suction line from the bulb to supply fuel to the carb. There should not be any air leaks around these lines.
