Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): fb460v, air compressor, fuel system

Hey, I have an older fb460v kawi, pullstart on a walk behind. It was running fine and i mowed my whole lawn then it died.  It will run for 3 seconds with the choke on, then die. It will not start if you take it off choke, at full throttle, half throttle, or low throttle.  There is no clog, it is full off gas, and the gas is on.  Also the switch is on....any ideas?

Did you remove, dis-assemble and clean the carburetor with compressed air from an air compressor and aersol(spray can) carb cleaner?  Sounds like the carb is dirty since it will run with the choke on as this tells you the ignition, timing and compression are sufficient for the engine to start.  This leaves the fuel system as the only system not working correctly.  Most likely a dirty carb or an intake system leak...dirty carb is the most common problem.  Have you checked out this link:
