It won't start and I got it this way. I want to fix it for return missionaries who
have very little.  Thank you for any help.   Pete

First place to start is to check the fuel and ignition system.  Remove the spark plug and check for spark by grounding the tip of the spark plug againt a metal engine part.

If you have spark then re-install the spark plug.  Remove the air filter cover and air filter.  Spary a little WD-40 or starting fluid in the carburetor and see if it will try to start.
