Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): poulan pro 250e 31cc engine, plug hole, spark plug

Good Morning;
How do I get the clutch drum off the shaft so I can repair the pull cord it has to come off so I can get the outter case off looks like a small screw is holding the drum on is this correct or what do I need to do?

Yes, there is a screw holding the clutch in, it has a torqx fitting in the top. The first thing you should do is remove the spark plug and use a small section of pull rope(approx 3 feet)and put the rope in the spark plug hole, as much as you can. Now, when you go to remove the clutch the piston will be held still and you will be able to remove the screw without much trouble
