Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Fuel problems, fuel pump filter, fuel problems

I have a twin cyl kohler that will not run on its own.(120 toro groundmaster mower) If I spray fuel into the carb. it will run. I replaced the fuel pump, filter, and checked the carb for trash and nothing worked. Any suggestions?

Just because you can't see anything in the carburetor, doesn't mean there isn't anything in there. The jets are very small, and unless you get them all cleaned out it won't run. The other thing is if it has a fuel solenoid on the carburetor and it isn't working, it won't run.
