Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro lawn mower stopped working, briggs spring, throttle linkage

Question
I have a 2004 Toro mulching mower #20037.  It was running fine -- I've never had a problem starting it -- but a third of the way through my backyard it stalled and now I can't get it started.  The gas is almost full.  I messed with the throttle thinking it was that and somehow detached it, so first thing, I need a picture of how the throttle is attached to the pull lever on the mower body, and then once I can get that back on correctly, what might be the problem with starting.

Answer
Have you looked at the parts list on Toro's website?

Is this your Briggs engine model number, 123K02–0114–E1?

Have you replaced the spark plug or checked for spark?  Can you attach a picture of the part(s)/location you are referring to?

Below is link with a picture of the governor spring and throttle linkage:

Is this the part you are referring to?

FYI, in  my opinion, the engine and mower you have are one of my favorite units...and I am very picky since I get to test almost every model.  The engine, drive, and cut are execellent on this mower.

Let me if any of this helps.
