Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda Gcv160, honda engine, model engines

Question
We previously asked All Experts about cleaning and adjusting the carb on this motor. Currently it runs, but ONLY with the choke half closed.

We had heard that these carbs had break off plastic on the adjusters.  Unfortunately, our carb has no external adjusters, I really mean none! We have attached a link to our Honda carb, from Honda. http://cssportal.css-club.net/honda/engine-information/contents/Cab%20check%20sh... GC_GCV_GS_GSV/pdf_mode.pdf

As labeled we have no #1 adjuster. There is not even a plug or hole in the carb where this could be hiding under a lead plug. We do have #2 and #4.

So the $64,000 is, how do you adjust this factory carb?

Answer
So the carb is not providing enough fuel to the engine...it is running lean.  Did you blow compressed air from an air compressor through all the carburetor orfices?

I'm betting there are no adjustment on your carb, very common on late model engines.

Let me know about the compressed air.
