Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Front Wheel Drive Sears-Honda Wheels Lock-Up In Reverse, self propelled lawn mower, honda wheels

Question
I have a Sears-Honda 07137683000 front wheel drive self-propelled lawn mower that the front wheels are locking-up in reverse with the drive unit disengaged. It is only one year old (May 08, 09 purchase). The drive gear box works fine going forward. What should I do. I looked at the wheels/shaft and I can turn it by hand in reverse, but when I pull the mower back (drive disengaged) the front wheels skid-along.
Please help! Dave
