Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): harmony 215 honda self PP mower, ride on mowers, model numbers

My self propelled..is starting to skip or it seems..to not fully engage in the self propelled mode...can I change the gear...it does work but I want to see if I can make it work better...thanks, Rob
