Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Ryobi SS30 grass trimmer, spark plug wire, grass trimmer

Question
I am trying to disassemble my trimmer and found you response on the web.  You said "Remove the Torque Screw from Inside the Clutch Bell Nose ..." to gain access to the clutch and pull cord.  I assume that this screw must be removed to clutch drum (or Clutch Bell Nose).  I cannot seem to get this screw to turn either direction.  Do you know if this screw has to be turned clockwise or counter clockwise to remove?

I want to be sure before I apply much torque.

I notice that this screw is not even shown on the parts breakdown.
Does the screw the clutch drum?

Thanks:
John

Answer
Hello John:

>>Always Remove the Spark Plug Wire/s from the Spark Plug/s before Working on Any Small Engine unless the Plug/s must be Connected to the Coil/s for Diagnostic Reasons.
>>It has been Mentioned to the Sales Rep for Ryobi (Homelite/HCPI) but there is Little else that can be Done.
>>Apparently this Screw was Left Out of the Breakdown when the OEM made the IPL/Breakdown Manual.
>>You can View a Breakdown of this Unit at this Site Addy; http://www.ryobitools.com/ and Select "Parts/Batteries" Under the Service & Support" Heading. Now Select "Go to Ryobi Outdoor Parts Store". Now Select "Repair Parts Catalog". Select I Agree to Terms. Now Enter the Model Numbers and Click Search. Now Double Click on you Model in the Results Area.
>>To Loosen this Screw, it is Turned the Same Direction as the Engine Rotation During Operation.
>>The Clutch Drum is Held Stationary and the Screw is then Removed.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
