Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Gas in air filter, valve clearances, excessive gas


Question
I have tried everything john to no avail.New carb....It is not float,seat,valve.Breather clean.Now what John...what could it be.
I dont seem to have it going into my crankcase.I don't smell it.
But you can sure see it spraying out of filter.Any suggestions appreciated John.Your quick responses are great!!!!!

>>The ONLY Other Possible cause for Excessive Gas Spray from the Carburetor Intake is the Intake Valve Requires Seating or you need to Open the Clearance/Gap between the Valve Stem and the Tappet Slightly.
>>Sometimes the Suggested Valve Clearances may be Slightly Off for the Engine in Question and you have to Open/Close the Clearance/Gap Slightly for the Engine to Run Correctly.
>>It is Not Often that this Happens, but it Does Happen from Time to Time on All Engines, Not just Small Engines.
