Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawnmower leaking oil, push mowers, push mower

Question
I fired up the lawnmower and it started leaking oil down the shaft connected to the blads.  It wasn't leaking when I rolled it out of the garage, but when I finally stopped the mower and noticed the leak, I went back to the spot where I started the mower and there was a perfect circle of oil from the leak meeting the spinning blades.  Is this an easy fix or am I doomed?

Answer
I am assuming that this is a push mower.
If you have oil leaking from around the blade shaft then you need a new crank seal.
Sometimes this is an easy fix, just remove the old seal and install a new one.
Sometimes a complete disassembly is required to do this. Most push mowers aren't worth the cost.
make sure that it isn't your drainplug leaking .
Let me know what you find out.
