Why is there gas in my stihl MS 210 chainsaw muffle and spark plug?  Thanks

hi albert

could be a couple or 3 reasons

1/  tank breather is not working   and is building up pressure and is unseating fuel needle

2/  fuel pump diaphram is damaged or has small hole(s)

3/ meter lever set too high

4/  metering diaphrams damaged / stiff

5  dirt / debris in carb  


might pay to remove carb and purchase a k20wat kit and rekit the carb and set hi lo mixture settings to baae of  1 1/4 turn out each from lightly seated   

set meter lever flush with chamber floor

fuel pump side  has diaphram 1st then gasket and cover
meter lever side has  gasket then metering diaphram and cover  
replace carb gasket if has one and assemble up
clean tank , check breathers and clean or replace fuel filter - check your fuel lines for holes  

fill er up with 50:1 2 stroke and let er rip
