Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): toro mower leak soil, leak oil, oil level

hi,
my toro 20064 started to leak oil through the air filter. well, the oil doesn't just leak; it flows. do you think it's because of the broken gasket?
before i realised it's leaking i saw a lot of smoke coming out of exhaust.

Adrian, you dont tell me which gasket is broken.  Have you checked your oil level?  There should only be 20 ounces of oil in your engine.  Did you tip your mower on the side to clean it?  If you tipped it "Muffler up" oil will run into the carb.

The condition you are describing sounds like to much oil in the crankcase to me.
