Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Kawasaki, weak spark, jd dealer, snag

Have a model RB460V 101648 ON JD165. Won't Start, weak spark. Sanded flwyheel outside still no fire. How to test trigger? I had tested as a diode and had high Meg ohm reading one way.New plug
