Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman 13 hp. 30 rider., dana model, ohc engine

Question
I have a used just bought Craftsman rear engine riding mower model number 502.256220 ser. no. 7288605652j00166 about a 1996 year 13 h.p.engine no. 143.961300
The book calls for a RJ4C plug  but it has a rn9YC in it which seems to be the right reach plug as it is a OHC ENGINE .And I can not find this engine in any plug charts .What plug is it really to have? I no the RN9YC must be a misprint.
Also what kind of grease does the DANA model 4450 5 speed trans axle take because I need to replace the brake pads and it looks like I need to drain it and split the unit in half to get to them.
Thanks for any help you can give.
Have a nice day.

Hello Darel:

>>According to all my Research, this Engine uses a "R N 4 C" Spark Plug.
>>Other Spark Plugs may Fit and Allow the Engine to Run, but the Engine is Not Operating at its Specified Optimum Performance.
>>You can View a Breakdown of the Transaxle at this Site Addy; http://www.m-and-d.com/dana_foote_parts.html and Scroll Down to the View Dana/Foote Parts Diagram Window. Now Scroll in this Window to your Model Transaxle.
>>Select your Model and it will Download a Breakdown of the Transaxle.
>>My Research into the Transaxle Lubricant shows this Model Dana/Foot Transaxle uses a 80W90 Gear Oil.
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the T. Then Select Tecumseh. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Enter the Model Numbers . Then Select your Model and Download the File for Online Viewing.

Hello Again Darel:

>>Have them Cross the Plug Number with a Different Brand. It Does Not have to be a Champion Plug, an Autolite or AC Plug that Crosses over to the Champion Plug will give you the Same Performance.
>>Thanks for the Ratings and Comments.
