Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): kawasaki 25hp FH721 BS16-R hard to start hot, vice grip pliers, channel lock pliers

Question
Hi John, kawasaki 25hp FH721v BS16-R   on my hustler 60inch.  real hard to start hot. done spark , hot comp. tank vent check.  all ok. read another answer you gave to same problem and tried to remove  fuel solenoid . dosn't unscrew like say the 25hp FH721 BS17 and other FH721 models. Has no place for wrench or spanner to undo. strange. looked in parts and it is different than all the other solenoids and no line drawing of a thread like other models.  have turned it anticlockwise 20 times by hand. do you know how it might be fitted? odd one. thanks so much. Bill

Answer
Hello Bill:

>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine at this Site Addy,
http://www.emerichsales.com/ and Select Parts at the Top of the Page. Now Fill Out the OEM Parts by Model Fit Section.
>>Just as a Precaution, I Spoke to Kawasaki and was told the Carburetor Solenoid was Threaded into the Carburetor Bowl Assy. The Problem May be that the Housing is Turning, but Not the Threaded Section.
>>It was Suggested; if the Carburetor Solenoid will Not Turn Out by Hand, then the Carburetor Solenoid will have to be Broken for Removal and Replaced. Use Vice Grip Pliers or Channel Lock Pliers to Squeeze the Housing Hard enough to Hold the Internal Coil and then Turn the Solenoid Out of the Carburetor Bowl Housing.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
