Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): muffler removal, Muffler, Removal

Question
I have removed 2 bpolts and muffler is loose but I cannot remove it.The muffler is loose but I cannot get it off the cylinder head

Answer
Hello Tom:

>>What Engine is this Muffler Attached to?
>>Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Engine Model Numbers May be Stamped Into the Blower Housing (metal engine cover) Above the Spark Plug.
>>Some Mufflers are 2 Piece and have 2 Bolts that Hold the Outer/Upper Half of the Muffler and 2 that Hold the Inner/Lower Section of the Muffler to the Engine.
>>If you Muffler is a Singe Piece Muffler, then Lightly Wedge a Screw Driver Between the Engine Block and the Muffler and Pry. There May be some Carbon Holding the Muffler in  Place.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
