i have a craftsman 9.0hp snow blower i bought a 12volt work light from a automotive store I'm getting 14.6 volts out of the wire that coming from the motor runing conect it all and the 12 volt light is very dim. like a candel almost dont understand

How many watts is bulb?  The snowblower charging system may not be able to produce enough current to power the bulb.  35 watt bulb is the max you can put on almost all snowblowers.
