Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Excess fuel?, sachs engine, fuel mixture

Question
Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Excess fuel?, sachs engine, fuel mixture
1971 Coleman 5.3 Sport
I have a 1972 Coleman mini bike with a Sachs 5.3 hp, 49cc 2 stroke engine. When I run it I get a black liquid out of the exhaust. I believe it is a mixture of gas from the engine and carbon from inside the muffler. I am thinking it is a carb problen and a good cleaning and adjusting will do the trick. Hopefully!!
I think I am running the fuel mixtur to low 32:1 and should try 50:1. It's been hard finding any info on this engine, yet people tend to think they are good engines. Let me know what you think!

Thanks a bunch for your time.

Answer
The sachs engine are a good engine. How does it run is the question. If it runs pretty good, I would be more inclined the think it is a condensation build up in the exhaust system.
2 cycle engine have a very hard time running if the carb is dumping that much fuel if they would even start at all.
My advise if it runs good, to take it out and run it for a while and burn all the carbon and condensation out of the exhaust system.
On the fuel mixture, a good average is 50:1. 32:1  is a little rich in the cold season.
