Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): finding part number for tecumseh carburetor, carburator, go cart

I have a Tecumseh 5.0 OHV Enduro engine (came out of a go-cart). I need to get a new carburator. Where can I find the numbers I need to get the new carburator?

Hi Mark,

You will have to get the serial and model no's off of the engine.

They are usually somewhere on the engine itself with a label or engraved.

Using the serial no's from the engine you can determine the correct carburetor for you.

Check with the manufacturer of the engine, or if you have a small engine shop around where you live they would probably be helpful.
