Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Ignition kill connection, spade terminal, throttle plate

Question
I have an Ariens mower with a B&S 311777 mower, 17.5hp, OHV.  The ground wire from the ignition switch has come disconnected, and as a result, the ignition switch will not shut off the engine.  I have a black wire with a female spade terminal, and I cannot seem to locate the male spade that it is supposed to connect to.  I presume that this is under the lip of the flywheel somewhere, but I cannot seem to locate it.

Any help is appreciated.  Thank you.

Answer
Usually there is a post on the engine block, often times near the throttle plate assembly, to plug the wire in.

You can remove the engine shroud to access the ignition coil and trace the wire from the ignition coil to the terminal on the block.

The male spade terminal is on the outside of the engine so when Ariens installs the engine on the mower they just plug in the female terminal.  Did the male terminal break off?
