Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Blowing fuses, engine model type, snapper riding mower

Question
I've had a fuse blowing issue with my Snapper riding mower for a while.  It has the electric starter and it will crank the engine fine.  But then when you turn the ignition off and try to restart, nothing happens.  Check the fuse and it is blown.  And this is a continuous cycle throughout the season.  Any ideas on what might be the problem?  Thanks for any advise you can provide.

Answer
What is the five digit Snapper model number?  The model number is located on a sticker usually on the rear of the mower or under the seat/fenders.

What is the engine model, type and code/serial number?

Have you checked the wiring harness for a bare wire where the insulation has wore through.  Bare wires are usually found where they run through a hole or behind some part where they can get pinched.

Send me the mower and engine numbers so I can look up the mower.
