craftsman 18"chainsaw, AS I pull the cord it seems to fire prematurely pulling cord from my hand very hard! and does not start i have changed fly wheel/key (one piece)

Sounds like the saw is out of time,that will cause backfiring and hard to pull. You are pulling the cord at the same time it fires that will cause that symptom. Remove the fly wheel again and make sure it is correct and also make sure your coil is adjusted correct usually you can gap it between 0.10 to 0.14
