Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro 824 Snowblower, worm gear, gear case

How do I remove the worm gear case when replacing the worm gear? Also, what type of lubrication do I use in the worm gear/case?

Answer
Go to Toro's website.  Click on "Toro Homeowner".

Go to the "Customer Care" box, lower right portion of the site.  Click on "Parts".

Enter this model number:  38080

Download the 1993 model year manual.

TIP:  Make sure you mark the augers.  There is a right and left side.
