Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 24HP Honda V-twin engine, engine harness, engine numbers

I recently purchased a honda gx670 v twin engine with remote start.  My problem is that it has two wires that do not match the wiring diagram color code.  One is brown with a yellow stripe, the other brown with a pink stripe.  One has a male the other a female fitting.  One comes from the left hand coil. The other I am not sure of.  How do these wires attach? Are they part of the engine shut off?.
Check out the pictures of the two hanging wires in front of the starter.

I assume you are trying to replace an engine with this engine correct?  I can only surmise that the wire coming from the top of the engine goes to the carb .  It is most likely the fuel shut off solenoid.  the other coming off the left coil should plug into the OEM engine harness that the engine was originally made for.  ... but I am NOT SURE...Please get me all the numbers off the engine and I can help you further.   The engine numbers are located above the oil drain on the engine block.
