Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Tuning 2-cycle carburators, zama carburetor, homelite chainsaws

Question
I inherited 2 small homelite chainsaws and a gas weed whacker. I know little of these things. In fact the 3 items are in another state and in storage. I was able to get the chainsaws running and I fogged them and drained all the fuel out before putting them in storage. I just need some instruction on how to tune them when I get back there. Can you provide a generic description on how to adjust those two spring loaded screws? As an example; I couldn't get one of the chainsaws to idle at a speed below that which would make the chain spin.

Walbro carburetor service manual found here:

Very little tune-up on 2 cycle engines.  Replace the spark plug and replace/clean the air filter.  Most 2 cycle poor running can be traced to carburetor problems.  Almost all carbs ajust the same but I provided all three major carburetor manufactures so you can compare the adjustment procedures.

Let me know if this helps.
