Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): HUSQVARNA 2148 WONE SATY RUNNING, fuel starvation, starvation problem

WHEN I CRANK THE MOWER UP I HAVE TO CHOKE IT AND THEN IT RUNS FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS AND DIES .I CHECK THE FUEL FILTER AND IT GET ABOUT HALF FULL NOT RUNNING AND WHEN IT CRANKS IT GOES DOWN.

How fresh is your fuel that is in the tank?   Will it continue to run with the choke pulled out or part way out?   If so you do have a fuel starvation problem.  It may be a fuel pump, this can be checked by removing the fuel line that goes to the carburetor and cranking the engine over to see if you have a steady stream of fuel..

Another troubleshooting method is to take a small remote fuel tank and hook it directly to your carb.  If the tractor runs okay then, you need to check the fuel in your tank, the fuel lines for obstructions, fuel pump etc...


Also remove the air filter for TESTING purposes only.  If it runs you may have a problem with the air filter.  Husqvarna accidentally printed the wrong air filter number in thier manual that has been casuing lots of grief, but the symptoms are oppsite to yours, meaning that they have a rich running condition.
