Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): COMPRESSION IN LBS, fly wheel, push rod

WHAT IS THE MIN. LBS OF COMPRESSION IN A KOHLER 17 HP CV490S FOR SPARK? I HAVE 80LBS & A SPUN FLYWHEEL KEY DUE TO CARB FLOODING , MAYBE BENT ROD ALSO?

If you have 80 lbs you are doing great. Install a new key way and reset the fly wheel then check to see if the engine starts. What makes you think you have a bent push rod? Pull the push rod out to check if you think it is bent,replace it before you try to start the engine.
