Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): GX355 PTO assembly, hex head cap, clutch assembly

Hello Eric, I have a JD GX 355 with 680 hrs. Recently, the PTO clutch assembly bolt has come undone.  First time i was lucky to find it and replaced assembly.  This time i lost the bolt. Two questions: (1) what size bolt is it? and (2) should I use a locking washer or some other fastener to prevent unwinding?  Thanks in advance for your help.

The bolt is an M10X100.  If you use a regular bolt you will need a large flat washer and a lock washer.   You can apply a thread locking agent to the regular bolt to help it stay in place.

When the JD bolt first came out were you able to find the spring waher as well?
