Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): carb problems, real option, chinese imports

I purchased a All Power Generator online and when I ran it for the first time it ran perfect except gas ran out of the carb after I shut it off. They sent me a new rui ing carb and I installed it and it won't take gas and won't start. I'm totally confused now because I put the old carb back on, it started but still leaked gas. New carb back on same prob I have to use compressed air to get the fuel into the carb so it will run for 10 seconds. Where do you think my problem is???

Often on the Chinese imports we see carburetors that are corroded right out of the box.  It's because the metals they use aren't always up to par and they corrode in transit.

I think your only real option in fixing this is to have then send you another carburetor.  Your first one isn't sealing at the needle and seat and your new one probably isn't opening at the needle and seat.  A good cleaning might fix it, but personally I'd make them send me carburetors until I got a good one.  Let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks, PK.
