Question
Blows fuse when trying to start. It runs only if you cross the solenoid and squirt gas into it but now it doesn't run.The yellow and white with red stripe was loose and the two black wires were loose on the key switch. So i switched them around and tried starting it. it would'nt fire so i put it back the way it was but it still doesn't run. If i undo the wire that is red with a white stripe at the solenoid it doesn't blow the fuse but if i unhook the coil wires it still blows the fuse.

Answer
Blowing fuses is usually associated with a direct short to ground.  Have you checked the wire harness for a bare wire or broken wire insulation?  Shorts usually happen when the wire harness turns or is routed through a hole or under the frame.  Another common short located is direcetly behind the starter.  If the starter is removed make sure the wires are not pinched when replacing the starter.  The OHV engines have a diode harness between the coils.  Are the diodes shorted?

If you send me the engine model, type and code numbers I can look up the harness.
