Answer
The dealership I worked at a few years ago had a similar problem
but it was from day one.
Kawasaki had even put on a new engine for this lady, and it still had
the same problem.

The fix was a bit involved, I went out to pick the mower up, the lady had a newly constructed home on a rough hill, and they were still trying to get a decent lawn going.  The lady was about 100 lbs. wet,
I think much of her problem was the weight on the rough terrain
bouncing up and down on the seat, and the ignition was semi-stalling
a lot because of the seat switch, also the dusty conditions were
fouling her air filter sooner than normal, causing the rich condition
helping to foul the plugs.

Just some ideas to think about, also a possible leaky head gasket could force oil mist into the intake and foul the plugs as well.

Kawasaki has some good tech support, you should call them for
more ideas.
